These terms apply when you use OrdLens and buy a pass.

Write to us with any question about your purchase. We answer within [2 working days].
OrdLens is an app for learning Danish: photograph a page, tap the words you don't know, then save and practise them. It works in your browser at ordlens.app and in the OrdLens app for Android. You sign in with a Google account, and one account works everywhere you sign in.
7 days free. Every new account gets 7 days of full access for free. No card is needed, and nothing is charged when they end.
Passes. After the free days, a pass gives full access for a fixed time:
| Pass | Price | Access |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | 39 kr | 1 calendar month |
| 6 months | 99 kr | 6 calendar months |
| 1 year | 129 kr | 12 calendar months |
Full access means everything in the app: scanning pages, word look-ups, stories, summaries and audio. A 1-month pass that starts on 13 October runs until 13 November.
A pass never renews. You pay once. When the time is up, the pass simply ends, and you are never charged again.
Buying more time. If you buy a pass during your free days, it starts when they end. If you buy one while another is running, the new time is added to the end of the current one. Either way, you never lose days.
Good to know. Most of OrdLens needs an internet connection. You must be at least 13 to use it; if you're under 18, ask a parent before you buy a pass.
The price shown is the total price, with no fees on top. Prices are in Danish kroner.
You pay on our website through Stripe, a payment company. You can pay with MobilePay, a card (Visa, Mastercard and others), Apple Pay, Google Pay or WeChat Pay. Stripe handles your payment details; we never see your card number.
Your access is extended as soon as the payment goes through. You then get an email confirming the purchase, with a copy of these terms and the withdrawal form.
We may change prices for new purchases. A change never affects a pass you have already bought.
You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of buying it, for any reason, and get all your money back. This applies even if you have already started using your pass.
How to withdraw. Use any of these:
It is enough to send your message before the 14 days are up.
What happens next. We confirm by email that we have received it, and your pass ends. We refund the full price within 14 days, to the payment method you used. It costs you nothing.
After 14 days, unused time on a pass is not refunded. Your rights if OrdLens doesn't work still apply (see "If something goes wrong" below).
When your free days or your pass end, scanning, look-ups, stories and audio stop until you buy a pass. Your saved words are kept, and you can still open Settings to export them. Nothing is charged. We remind you in the app a week before a pass ends.
Deleting your account (Settings → Account) deletes your saved words and ends any pass at once. Before you confirm, the app shows how many paid days you would lose. Within the 14 days after a purchase you can still withdraw and get your money back; after that, unused time is not refunded.
Inactive accounts. We delete accounts that haven't been used for 24 months. An account with paid time left is never deleted this way.
What we store about you, and why, is in our privacy policy.
AI can be wrong. Word explanations, translations, example sentences, stories and summaries are made by AI and marked as AI-generated. They can contain mistakes. Check anything important with a dictionary or a teacher.
Outages. OrdLens depends on the internet and on outside services (Google, OpenAI and our hosting), so it may sometimes be unavailable. If it is down for more than [2 days in a row] while your pass is running, write to us and we add the lost days to your pass.
If OrdLens doesn't work as described, tell us and we will fix it. If we can't, you have the rights Danish consumer law gives you, such as a price reduction, or ending the purchase with a refund for the time left. These terms never take away rights the law gives you.
Our liability. We are not responsible for indirect losses, for example from relying on an AI answer. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Talk to us first. Write to support@ordlens.app, and we will try to put it right.
Complaint board. A complaint about a product or service can be filed with Nævnenes Hus, Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, through its complaint portal. It handles purchases from [1,220 kr] to 100,000 kr, and charges a fee, so a single OrdLens pass is usually below its limit.
If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with a complaint against a Danish seller.
Which law applies. Danish law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the consumer protection its law gives you.
Changes to these terms. The terms in force when you buy apply to that purchase. If we change them, we update the date at the top.
Fill in and send this form only if you want to withdraw from a purchase.
